§ 1.02. Form of government.

The form of government of the City of Quincy shall be that known as the "commission-manager plan" and the commission shall consist of five commissioners who shall be elected in the manner hereinafter provided. The commission shall constitute the governing body of the city with powers hereinafter provided.

Editor's note

In the second sentence of section 1.02 the editors have deleted the words "powers … other" as not needed in light of or superseded by Fla. Const. art. VIII, § 2(b), F.S. § 166.021. The word "hereinafter" in the second sentence refers to both the charter and general law.
