This part is enacted in the interest of the public health, peace, safety, morals and
general welfare of the citizens and inhabitants of Quincy, Florida, pursuant to Article
VIII, Section 1(g), Florida Constitution and F.S. § 166.021, and the Charter of Quincy,
Florida. It is established to regulate the use of simulated gambling devices to effect
giveaways through drawings by chance, sweepstakes or game promotions that do not otherwise
violate Florida law.
